At Cairo Academy, children learn in a safe, nurturing, and engaging play-based environment. We implement Creative Curriculum and Second Step social-emotional learning tools, thoughtfully following children’s interests to spark curiosity and encourage lifelong learning.
Students are supported in expressing themselves through language, music, art, writing, movement, and hands-on exploration. Our bilingual and bicultural educators create welcoming spaces where families feel seen, valued, and connected.
Creative Curriculum
We implement Creative Curriculum and Second Step social-emotional learning tools, thoughtfully following children’s interests to spark curiosity and encourage lifelong learning.
Bilingual & Bicultural
Our bilingual and bicultural educators create welcoming spaces where families feel seen, valued, and connected — recognizing them as children’s first and most important teachers.
Expression & Exploration
Students express themselves through language, music, art, writing, movement, and hands-on exploration in classrooms that reflect the cultures and identities of the children we serve.
Kindergarten-Ready
We build strong social-emotional skills so children enter kindergarten confident, capable, and proud of who they are — with a strong sense of belonging and individuality.
CORE Value
Our commitment to inclusion
We are an inclusive program committed to meeting the social, emotional, and learning needs of every child. Through thoughtful assessment and intentional curriculum planning, we ensure all children have equitable access to education and are fully included in classroom instruction and daily activities alongside their peers, regardless of abilities or disabilities.
Inclusion is both a mindset and a practice rooted in creating supportive, least-restrictive preschool environments where every child feels valued, supported, and able to learn and thrive. As part of our inclusionary practice, we do not suspend or expel children from our program.
